Plans are underway to create an igloo shaped structure like a Hobbit House to use as a long term food storage area. Theoretically it should be insulated enough through wall width and by sitting on bedrock to hold a steady low temperature year round. It won't be as cold as a modern fridge but should be cool enough for vegetable and milk products. We will use saved plastic milk bottles as 'earth bags' to create the walls and ceiling. It will be done as a dome for strength and to avoid the need for further structural frames.
